Abbey Thacker

Abbey is an unbelievably empathetic and expert coach, and is well-positioned to support resilience and mental wellness for first responders whether is general workplace culture or building up the leadership. Abbey is a constant learner and is passionate about passing her learning onto others; she is inquisitive and wants to see others succeed.

Her collaborative spirit shines through when working with other people, and others have commented on her positive and calming effect she has on people.

Abbey’s 12-year career with the RCMP, mixed with her own life experiences, and other certifications including: 30 Hour Beginner Mediation Facilitator, Online Diploma for Social Psychology by Stratford Career Institute, and Flourishing Certifications of Life, Wellness, Leadership, and Workplace Culture Coaching allows her to coach first responders, as well as have a close connection to understanding their experiences.

She is passionate about empowering everyone to stand up for themselves, and to show people they have the power within to be resilient; as well as helping leaders understand how important it is to create a safe work environment, to show their team that everyone matters making the team feel seen, heard and safe.
