I want to help you shift from confusion to clarity. The reason is that the economic landscape is always changing. Now, I don’t want to talk about the macro when it comes to these details. I want to drill into the micro, which is where you and I live. And the way I’m going to do that is by covering 4 challenges to growth as a coach or solopreneur, and what you can do to conquer them. Keep reading to learn more.

4 Challenges Facing Coaches and Solopreneurs in Growth

We have to face these challenges, and that’s why it’s so important to learn how to overcome. The idea is that you don’t want to inhibit your growth. That’s why recognizing these challenges is so crucial. You’ll know what to look for and, as a result, you’ll also know the corrective steps that you need to take to move past them.

1. Lack of Clarity and Overwhelm

The challenge for a lot of people in our space is that everyone has a theory about what they should be doing. This makes people feel like they don’t know whether they’re up or down. The issue is too many directions and not enough focus. And it’s not really their fault as they’re trying to learn and practice discernment. The challenge is in realizing what is the best decision for you.

2. Client Attraction and Visibility

I know coaches who have done TEDx talks and get hundreds of thousands of views on their videos, but they have no viable business. And the other side of that is some coaches get only a few hundred views on their videos, but the size of their business book is much bigger. You might think that’s confusing, but what I would say is that it’s about getting the RIGHT eyes on you.

And the right eyes are those who would be your customer because you’re speaking to their needs and hearts. I look at it like I NEED to sell in order to keep helping people.

3. Narrative War

The narrative war is the back and forth combat taking place in your own mind. In other words, it’s the story you tell yourself. Self-doubt is a big thing. And what’s interesting about self-doubt is that there isn’t much of a correlation between it and the success you have.

Even top-performing athletes who are at the pinnacle of their sport experiencing self-doubt. Truly, that nasty voice in the back of your head exists within all of us.

4. Sustainability and Burnout

Anyone who’s ever had a shower has had a great idea. But how many of us have started and stayed on that path after 5 years? Sustainability matters, and burnout is real. That’s why I’m proud of our track record at Flourishing. I’m not the guy who gets inspired once and then disappears after 6 months. I’m in it for the long run because I keep getting inspired.
