Dr. Gwendolyn Diggs
Dr. Gwendolyn W. Diggs is a Certified Flourishing Life, Educator, and Parenting Coach on a mission to lead individuals towards transformative lifestyles. With over 30 years of expertise in public education, Dr. Diggs brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the field of coaching, grounded in evidence-based practices and scientific principles of flourishing.
Throughout her remarkable career, Dr. Diggs has served in various leadership roles, consistently driving personal and professional development while managing large-scale instructional projects. As the Vice-President of the Urban League’s Head Start/Early Head Start program, she passionately provides invaluable school readiness opportunities and services for children from birth to age five, nurturing emotional, educational, and spiritual growth and resilience.
Prior to her current role, Dr. Diggs held positions such as Assistant Superintendent, Director of Federal Programs, and Elementary Principal in the Ferguson-Florissant School District. Her leadership in disciplines including curriculum/instruction, early childhood, elementary, secondary, gifted, and community education initiatives reflects her ability to drive individual and group change, ensure operational excellence, and foster organizational success.
Dr. Diggs is also an adjunct professor at the University of Missouri Saint Louis, where she shares her expertise with future educators. Her educational background includes a Bachelor’s in Business Management, a Master’s in Education Administration, and a Doctorate in Education Administration. She is a distinguished alumna of the 2018 Saint Louis Business Diversity Initiative Fellows Program.
Beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Diggs is a dedicated advocate for social justice, holding lifetime memberships in the NAACP and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Her international experience includes living and working in Panama and Guatemala for the US Army, the American Embassy, and Citibank’s overseas branch.
Dr. Diggs is also an author, having penned the inspirational devotional book, “A Place of My Own to Give God Glory.” Her commitment to shaping futures and creating positive change makes Dr. Gwendolyn W. Diggs a truly inspiring figure in the fields of education and community leadership.
